How to do Palm Reading

Palmistry is an ancient art and for many, a science of foretelling or future characterization. The roots of this art stem from the ancient Indian texts and gypsy stories. It is not hard to understand the concepts of palm reading; however, people spend years to master it.
How to Read Palm?
Usually a man's right hand and woman's left hand are studied for palmistry.
Lines
Different approaches exist in different traditions. Palmists may read them from left to right, or vice-a-versa.
Heart Line: This is the uppermost line on your palm that starts somewhere below the index finger and goes wide across the palm. It reflects the love-life and other emotional aspects of a person. Broken or chained line represents emotional trauma or turbulence.
Head Line: This is the line just below the heart line. It shows mental attributes of a person, such as intellect, learning, communication, etc.
Life Line: This is the most talked-about line among palmists. The line usually starts just above the thumb on the edge of a palm and rests in the wrist, following a semi-circular path. It shows the overall energy levels of a person. It reflects the vitality and liveliness of a person.
There are several other lines read by the palmists, for example, fate line, sun line, etc.
Shapes
Shapes are also an important aspect in palm reading.
Earth: These are broad and ruddy hands. They are square in size.
Water: These are short and oval-shaped hands. They have long and flexible fingers.
Air: These hands exhibit square or rectangular shaped palms. They are often very dry.
Fire: These hands have short palms and short fingers. Pinkish tint is often seen on these palms.
These four basic elements are common in almost all traditions; and they confer their own inherent qualities on the people possessing them. Certain mounds are also studied with shapes and lines for better foretelling.
